Hac die, quam fecit Dóminus, Solémnitas solemnitátum, et Pascha nostrum: Resurréctio Salvatóris nostri Jesu Christi secúndum carnem.

The Prelate and community of the canonry of Our Lady of Sorrows and St. Philip Benizi, Chelmsford extend to all our friends, relatives and benefactors our most ardent prayers and best wishes this Easter.

This year we had the singular privilege of welcoming Msgr. Keith Newton, ordinary of the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham for his first Easter Vigil as a Catholic priest. At Our Lady Immaculate Church, Chelmsford Msgr. Newton received into full communion a group of former Anglicans from the Chelmsford area together with their pastor. The Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham was established by the Holy Father as a canonical structure for former Anglicans entering the Catholic Church and it is under the patronage of Blessed John Henry Newman Cong. Orat. In addition to the new members of the Ordinariate we also had the joy of welcoming 12 others into full communion. Please pray for all those received this Easter.
